What can Captevio replace?
Most lodges use Captevio instead of a separate popup or website-bar tool, email newsletter tool, marketing automation tool, transactional email service and design tool. Everything shares one guest list, so there is nothing to copy between systems.
Can I bring my existing guest list?
Yes. Import your contacts from a CSV export of your current email tool, then send from your own domain once it is verified.
Will this upset my agents and tour operators?
It shouldn’t. Lodges use Captevio to offer experiences and value-adds rather than public discounts, and to send travel professionals straight to their trade resources. You decide what each audience sees.
Who installs it?
Anyone who can edit your website, or your web agency. It is one line of code or a Google Tag Manager tag, and it doesn’t change your site or your booking engine.
Where do enquiries go?
Every enquiry is stored in your Captevio dashboard, can trigger an automatic reply to the guest, and can sync to ActiveCampaign, Brevo, Kit or any system that accepts a webhook.
Do I need all three products?
No — each line is independent. Add only what you need; the rest stays collapsed and costs nothing.
How does pricing work?
Slide each line to the volume you need and the price updates automatically. All features are included at every paid tier — you only pay for volume.
What happens when I hit my limit?
We pause the feature (popups stop showing, emails stop sending) until the next billing period. You can buy a one-time add-on pack from the dashboard to extend without upgrading.
What counts as an impression?
An impression is counted each time a popup is shown to a visitor on your website. Visits where nothing is shown don’t count.
What is a marketing contact?
Any guest or prospect you can email. Each unique email address counts as one contact.
Is the AI builder included?
Yes. Every plan includes AI tokens for the AI popup and email builders — 500K free, and every paid plan includes more the higher you slide, starting at 1M a month. Need extra in a busy month? Buy a one-time AI token pack from the dashboard.
Can I change plans later?
Yes — upgrade or downgrade each line independently at any time. Changes take effect immediately.
